Hi! My name is Valeria Kharlamova, a digital & 3D artist from the United States, based in NJ, where currently I am receiving a BFA in Animation/ Illustration at Montclair State University. 

Art has been my passion since early childhood. By the age of 4, I was already attending the State Drawing School of the Orel Region (Russia), probably because my family was tired of my “masterpieces’ ‘ a la Malevich-Pollock-Kandinsky on the wallpaper and drapes all over our house. Attending Russian art school gave me deep knowledge and understanding of academic art and an understanding that before breaking the rules you have to know the basic principles of composition and drawing. At the age of 13, I immigrated to the United States where I continued my art career. Upon graduation from Ridgewood High School, I attended a variety of art courses including Graphic Design courses where I was introduced to Photoshop and Illustrator, tools I still use today.

Today, I am focusing on various digital forms of art including illustration, animation, 3D sculpting, and VFX.
